Poland’s first game at the 16th Wagner Memorial looked pretty good and the rivals didn’t have much to say, except in the first set, when they were close to take a lead.
The Canadians were ahead by two points (21-19) but with Kurek’s serves and Sliwka’s attacks the home team managed to win the first set.
In the second set, the Polish team quickly went ahead and made a huge distance from the rival. Simply, the Stephane Antiga’s side couldn’t do anything to reduce rival’s lead.
Even in the third set, Poland got a big lead which managed to keep until the end of the game.
