WAGNER MEMORIAL 2018: Stunning game at Tauron Arena, Poland make comeback to defeat France in tie-break

Poland - France

Poland – France

Fortunately for the home fans, their team Poland have managed to defeat France in the tie-break (30-28, 21-25, 22-25, 25-21, 15-13). This game has proved that we are going to watch a super exciting World Championship!

Even though the Polish side has taken the first set, it didn’t have an impact on Laurent Tillie’s team. They just continued playing at the high level to tie the score in sets and a half an hour later to take the lead.

Poland didn’t want to leave the fans in a bad mood so they pushed their performance at the maximum level to force the game into the tie-break.

After stunning displays from both sides in the fifth set, Poland were a little bit more lucky to win the game by two points of difference! It seems that Poland and Russia will have to decide the winner of the 16th edition of Hubert Wagner Memorial.
