The Argentine federation has decided to drop cooperation with Javier Weber, who led the squad for the last five years. The most serious candidate to replace Weber is Julio Velasco.

Among his successors the most serious candidate appears to be Julio Velasco, who is still tied to Iranian federation till the end of 2014 but Iranians are hoping that they will extend cooperation till 2016. Among the potential successors also is mentioned Marcelo Rodolfo Mendez, trainer Sada Crueiro Volei.
