WorldofVolley is presenting the young volleyball stars that will play at the Olympic Games in Rio!

The youngest star is Simone Giannelli, the Italian player that has reserved a place in the starting line-up. There are two Russian and Polish players as well.

There are also a few Cuban young players that will compete in Rio. They got the opportunity to play instead of players that were accused for a sex crime in Finland.

Dmytry Volkov, receiver (1995 – 21) Russia

Egor Kliuka, receiver (1995 – 21) Russia

Trevor Clevenot, receiver (1994 – 22) France

Bartosz Bednorz, receiver (1994 – 22) Poland

Mateusz Bieniek, middle blocker (1994 – 22) Poland

Adrian Eduardo Goide, setter (1998 – 18) Cuba

Javier Osctavio Concepcion, middle blocker (1997 – 18) Cuba

Osniel Lazaro Melgarejo, receiver (1997 – 18) Cuba

Osniel Cecilo Rendon, opposite  (1996 – 19) Cuba

Miguel Angel Lopez, receiver (1997 – 19) Cuba


These are the oldest male volleyball players that will compete at the Rio Olympics and the most experienced female players as well.
