USA vs. POL
In the quartefinals, the US National Team swept world champions Poland, in straight sets, 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-20).
Poland missed the opportunity to take the first and, especially, the second set in which they had two-point lead in the finish. Third set was a one way street for the USA who smashed the opponents by using attacking potential of Aaron Russell (13 pts.) and Matt Anderson (11 pts.).
On the other side, Bartosz Kurek was the only player with double digits on his scoring account – 11 points.
USA will face winners of Italy – Iran match (23:00 CET)
