The two teams who played in the 2016 Rio Olympics Finals faced each other once again, this time in the 3rd round of the 2017 World League and the outcome was the same.
Brazil once again defeated Italy and scored their 2nd win in this competition.
The fact that the match was played in Pesaro, Italy did not help the home team. Simply, Brazil was better today and they had outstanding Evandro on their side. Excellent opposite made 19 points and was therefore the top scorer of the game.
