Russia vs. Bulgaria
When we take a look at the result, we see an easy victory. However, it didn’t look like that, especially in the first set.
Plamen Konstantinov’s side had 21-20 lead in the opening set but Mikhailov & co. somehow managed to make the turnaround and to take the advantage in sets 25-23!
In the second and third set, Russia have dominated and it led them to the 3-0 victory.
The top scorers in Russia were Dmitri Volkov and Maxim Mikhailov both 12, while on the other side Rozalin Penchev had 17 points. Tsvetan Sokolov ended the game with 12 points.
