The German National Team ran over the Czech Republic in the second round of Pool B, in Szczecin, 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-20).
Today’s encounter has once again shown why the officials of the German Federation (DVV) made a huge effort to persuade Georg Grozer to return to the national team. He demolished Czechs (19 points) just the same way as the Italian NT, pushing Germany to 2-0 record and 5 points.
Thus, the German side secured their berth in the 8th Finals and even has a chance skip this stage and go directly to the quarter-finals if they win all three points against Slovakia in the last round.
