Belgium opened the game in a much better way, taking the lead 25-19. However, in another three sets, we saw a completely different side of the Czech girls, leaving no space for the rival to stop them!
Veronika Struskova (17 points) and Helena Havelkova (14 points) were the top scorers in the Czech Republic. Lisa Van Hecke had a good display (31 points) but she couldn’t do anything to make a better result for Belgium.
Belgium have two defeats out of two matches, while the Czech Republic have 1-1 score.
