Novara have won the final series 3-1 against Modena to finish the season in a perfect way with a trophy in the hands!
In the last night’s game, Novara simply was much better side, winning the match in straigh sets 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-17). Only in the first sets home team had some chances to stay in the race for the championship title but Novara didn’t allow the rival to even to take a breath.
It was the first ever championship trophy for Novara, even though they had six attempts in the finals so far.
Katarina Barun was the top scorer with 18 points and MVP, while Celeste Plak added 13 points.
