After disappointment at opening day when they lost from Italy, today they have defeated The Netherlands 3-0 (29-27, 25-23, 25-21) at the Olympic qualifiers in Tokyo.
A telling statistic from the match was the serve points; Korea served 11 aces, The Netherlands not a single one.
Of course Yeon-Koung Kim was the top scorer with 24 points for the winning team and on the other side Lonneke Slöetjes scored 20 points.
