More or less, all players that will represent teams at the Club World Championship were known even before the official registration for the tournament except those which will represent Philippine Superliga All-Stars.
Roster of the hosts of the Club World Championship (Manila, October 18-23) was designed to be the combination of seven domestic and seven foreign players but there will be more of each.
Philippine Superliga All-Star Team firstly named seven local players but obviously added more afterwards. Now, they added eight internationals – Thai Tichaya Boonlert (Nakhonnon-3BB VC/THA), Americans Kristy Lynn Schmieder (ex-Jaeckel, without club in 2016), Stephanie Niemer (Lancheras de Cataño/PUR) and Lindsay Stalzer (HPK Hämeenlinna/FIN), Japanese Yuri Fukuda, Russian Ekaterina Krivets (Dinamo Krasnodar/RUS), Puerto Rican Lynda Morales (Criollas de Caguas/PUR) and Ukrainian Yevgeniya Nyukhalova (Entente Sportive Cannet-Rocheville Volley-Ball/FRA).
