Zaksa already secured top spot for playoff finals, but fierce battle goes on for the place number two. Skra and Resovia are main contenders since Trefl is way behind with several defeats which they suffered recently.

At the moment, Skra and Resovia have same amount of points, but Skra have three more wins than Resovia. Some would say that Skra should be the second, but not according to the rules of PlusLiga.

Player of Skra, the Frenchman Nicolas Maréchal, was furios when he saw the standings on the website of PlusLiga.

„What is this? SCANDAL! Same number of points, three more victories and we are third!? WTF,“  Maréchal commented on Twitter.

Everyone knows the rules before the season.. Maybe they won 3 matches more but even then they lost MORE sets than Resovia… They might not loose with f.ex. Luczniczka 0-3. Resovia fought in every match and among this 8 loses, 5 of them was after the tie-break. So they have profits for this.
