“Zenit Kazan is the best club I have played in. I arrived here at the age of 32, while I am leaving with 35 years and 3 Champions League trophies. All the people in the club were like my family. I leave with positive emotions and with lot of love in my heart. I wish them to win the 2017 Club World Championship and therefore officially become the best volleyball club in the world,” said Salparov for sport.business-gazeta.ru.
Bulgarian libero also stated that he may continue his volleyball career in his home country.
“There is a serious offer from Bulgaria. There is going to be strong team which will compete in the Champions League… I will make the final decision until May 10.”
