“I had to recover from ankle injury and after my recovering period I was ready to play on high level again. I expected to get much more space on the court. I was not happy there. I got along fine with my teammates but I had not good relations with the head coach. The communication with him was not good and it got worse after a while”, says Balkstein-Grothues.
Next career destination may be Istanbul?
“This is really a top team. They want some extra stability at reception and that’s why they contacted me.”
Tomorrow she will have medical examination and after that will sign a contract with Fenerbahce.
