Arkas are close to crash Fenerbahçe’s dreams of national championship title after beating İstanbul team in the first match of the playoff semifinals, on the road.

The side of Canadian Glenn Hoag outblocked rivals (11-1) giving itself a chance to finish the series in front of own crowd, in three days.

In Arkas, Cuban Michael Sánchez Bozhulev stood out in attack with 30 points while 21-year-old Yiğit Gülmezoğlu had as much as 5 blocks. In ’Fener’, Slovenian international Alen Šket scored 20 points.
