Brazil’s Eduarda Santos Lisboa (Duda) and Ana Patricia Ramos claimed gold at the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Elite16 in Paris, marking their sixth and second consecutive win in Elite16.
The silver medal was claimed by Taryn Kloth & Kristen Nuss for the second consecutive time. Last year’s winners, Katja Stam & Raisa Schoon of the Netherlands, secured the bronze medal.
The gold medal game witnessed a thrilling three-set battle, ending in a 2-1 (21-10, 18-21, 15-13) victory for Ana Patricia & Duda. Although the Brazilians dominated the first set, Nuss & Kloth balanced the game in the second set and pushed it to a tie-breaker. After a fierce competition, the Brazilians managed to secure their victory.
The bronze medal match concluded with a 2-0 (21-17, 22-20) victory for Stam & Schoon over Italy’s Marta Menegatti & Valentina Gottardi.
