Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss achieved a remarkable victory at the 2023 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Finals in Doha, securing the championship trophy for the United States for the second year in a row. Their triumph follows in the footsteps of fellow Americans Sara Hughes and Kelly Cheng, who won the inaugural event.
German duo Cinja Tillmann and Svenja Muller clinched the Finals silver, their first on the Tour. The bronze medal was claimed by Brazilian top-ranked team Ana Patricia Ramos and Eduarda Santos Lisboa (Duda).
The final match, despite five aces from the German team, was dominated by the Americans, who won 2-0 with scores of 21-17 and 21-14. In the battle for third place, Ana Patricia and Duda overcame Australia’s Mariafe Artacho Del Solar and Taliqua Clancy 2-1, with scores of 21-13, 18-21, 15-12.
