VakifBank outside hitter Katarina Dangubic has successfully undergone surgery in Serbia following the injury she sustained during the CEV Champions League semifinal match.
According to the official club statement, advanced medical examinations conducted at the VakifBank SK health sponsor, Academic Hospital, confirmed the need for surgical intervention after the athlete suffered damage to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL) in her left knee.
The operation was carried out successfully in her home country of Serbia. Dangubic has already begun the rehabilitation phase of her recovery under the supervision and coordination of the club’s medical staff.
