Rida Erlalelitepe is working to make her dreams come true. There are many roads and crossroads that need to be crossed in the future, but this girl believes in herself.

Let's check it out what she will do during this summer and what are her plans for the future.

How would you rate your last season in a jersey of Seramiksan?

For me personally, It was a good season. I played well everytime when coach put me in to the court.“

Seramiksan didn’t manage to enter the playoffs but had to fight to avoid relegation. Do you think that this team could have done it better at some point of the season?

Of course we could have done it better. On an individual basis, we had great players. But we didn’t manage to improve our teamwork during the season.“

You are under a contract with Eczacibasi. Where would you play next season?

„I didn’t make any contract yet. My agency Shining Stars is negotiating with some clubs and then we will decide.“

What are your future volleyball goals?

„Primarily, I want to play at the Olympic games of course. Then, a team that plays in the Champions League. It doesn’t matter which team, just to play in the best clubs competition in Europe.“

What are your plans for this summer?

„On April 16, I had an ACL surgery on my left knee. So currently, I have physical therapy. That’s what I’ll do for next 2 months.“

Interesting things about Rida Erlalelitepe:

Favorite quote: „“Happiness is only real when shared.” Moreover, I got tattooed that quote with a nice view of mountains and some pine-tree.“

Favorite book: “Into the Wild”

ITA M: Lube stay without a head coach – Medei resigns!

I agree with almost all you said. But the thing with grebennikov is much more difficult. Grebennikov is French and Lube desperately needed one italian libero to make space for Leal. They chose good, but this guy played before for Padova (if I am not wrong) without any pressure to win. Reply

ITA M: Lube stay without a head coach – Medei resigns!

Unfortunately, this was expected. I was surprised this hasn't happened after last season and 5 lost finals. It's always a coach that pays the price since it is easier to fire a coach vs the whole team.

It was the same in Perugia at the beginning of last season, when Atanasijevic was injured and didn't play so Perugia lost few games in the row. Sirci immediately fired Kovac, who made that team and save them previous season and brought Bernardi. Coincidentally Atanasijevic recovered at the same time and Perugia started winning. And glory goes to Bernardi :)

I love Lube but they simply have too many good players on the team and they need a coach who is a good psychologist. After losing 6 finals, they have a serious problem.

After their game vs Zenit, when they saved 8 match points, I expected them to walk over Trentino in finals. But they were nowhere to be found.
Lubre fired Christensen to bring Bruno, which was the mistake in my opinion. Christensen was the soul of that team after playing so many years for Lube.

They did an unfair thing to Sada by bringing Simon who was under contract with Sada. They brought Leal as well. He is a great player but he doesn't fit into already established attack formation with Sokolov as 1st attack option and Juantorena as 2nd.

Juantorena is 33 so he should have been replaced with Leal who is 29 if that is a long-term strategy.

But what hurt Lube the most is the fact they lost Grebennikov, who is the best libero in the world. Not sure what happened here, but Lube couldn't find a proper replacement and that is where their defense has a problem.

POL M: The Italian international to join Budowlani Lodz?

Rather, she can play Chemik, because Abbondazza is an Italian trainer. Reply
