Maxim Mikhailov

In 2018, he won many trophies with Zenit Kazan such as CEV Champions League, Russian Championship and Russian Super Cup. At the Final Four of the CEV Champions League, he was named MVP of the tournament.

At the national team level, Maxim Mikhailov led Russia to the victory in the inaugural Volleyball Nations League, being also named the MVP of the tournament.

So, after having a good national team and club season, he has deserved to be among the five candidates for the WoV Male Player of 2018!
