Today Benny van den Dries from Belgium tells about his expectations.
Why are you coming to VELUX Eurovolley2013?
“Easy, my son Bram Van den Dries is a member (opposite) of the Belgian national team, therefore as parents of a player, I’ll come to Denmark along with my wife.”
What are you looking forward to the most?
“As the Belgium team consists of mostly very young players, I’d like to see them play against more experienced teams in order to increase their potential. So hopefully we’ll see some good matches at the European Championship and in best case a good result for Belgium.”
What do you anticipate the most in Denmark outside of volleyball?
“We always like to experience new cultures and visit cities. So best case scenario is we find some good restaurants and see some beautiful places in Denmark.”
Who do you think will win EuroVolley2013?
“In my opinion I would say Belgium, but to be realistic, I guess Russia (my wife’s guess is Serbia).”
