WCHU23 M: Argentina survived after five sets drama (PHOTOS)

First match that went into five sets drama on Men’s U23 World Championship was between Argentina and Tunisia. And South Americans somehow overcame persistent rivals – 3:2 (21:14, 21:18, 13:21, 19:21, 16:14).

Argentina cruised past Tunisia in oppening two sets. It seemed that this match was heading into a straight sets victory, but Tunisians had some other plans. They won the third set with huge point difference and then fourth as well, after a great battle.

But didn’t have strenght for the final strike. In fifth set Tunisians saved two match points, equlized on 14:14, but lost on point difference.  

Best scorer of the match was Tunisian Ben Abdallah Mohamed Arbi with 21 points, while Argentinian Pablo Koukartsev counted to 18.
