Terrible start in the league forced Canakkale to change head coach at the very beginning of the season. Various names were being connected to club from West Turkey, but at the end Canakkale chose Dragan Nešić.

Serbian coach comes from Galatasaray where he first led women’s, and then men’s team in last two seasons. Nešić will firstly have to raise a moral of the squad who lost all five matches in Turkish Championship so far.
Canakkale will face Besiktas today in sixth round of domestic league.
