Lokomotiv won at home by 3-2, and will have to defend that lead on 19th December in Istanbul.
“We won the first set quite easy. But, it was just the beginning. They didn’t know us, neither did we them. Perhaps, it made us relax, and you can’t do that against good and experienced team like Fenerbahce. They turned the score around and made us play the best we can. As a result came a victory, but we need to be at the same level in rematch. Because, we are not satisfied with only one win, our mission is to win this European competition” – concluded Nicolai Rudnicki, middle blocker of Ukrainian team.
