Women’s team defeated Belarus 3-1 (25-11, 32-34, 25-9, 25-23), and reached WCH first time after 12 years. Bulgarian men’s team needed only one set against Czech Republic to qualify, so lost by 3-2 (22-25, 25-18, 25-22, 18-25, 15-12) was not important.
