Dutch player was preparing for a spike, but fell down, with a painful expression on her face and eyes full of tears. Eventually, she couldn’t stand up, and medical stuff had to carry her out of the court.
As far as the game is concerned, RC Cannes dominated in the first two sets, but after injury of Grothues, Galatasaray took over the rhythm and therefore the third set. Away team was close to equalize, but a great double block of French side ended this exciting match.
