The victory brought Egypt win-loss record at the tournament to 3-0 to become the only team who maintain their unbeaten record, one day ahead of the competition closure, while Botswana dropped to 2-1.
Kenya overwhelmed Zambia 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-17) to achieve their second victory in the tournament to convince their spectators.
The result brought Kenya’s win-loss record at the tournament to 2-1 while Zambia dropped to 0-3.
Egypt play Cape Verde (2pm) while Kenya take on Botswana as the curtain comes down on the tournament on Monday. A victory for Egypt on Monday will ensure that they take the first ticket to the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship Poland 2014.
