The final tournament, which qualifies the winner for the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship Italy 2014, was supposed to feature seven national teams but due to the late arrival and consequent withdrawal of Ghana, it is now a six nation tournament.

Egypt overcame Botswana in straight sets 3-0 (25-21, 25-11, 25-17) in 81 minutes. Their better reception and powerful attacks were the key factors to their win.

The 2013 African Nations Championship silver medallists Cameroon flew past the DR Congo 3-0 (25-14, 25-9, 25-14) in 72 minutes.
