The same source reveals the names of those three teams which stayed without the special invitation. Those are – Trentino, Zaksa and Gabrovo!
Trentino and Zaksa could not get a wild card as their countries (Italy and Poland) have already filled the maximum number of teams (3), while Gabrovo withdrew application and will play in the CEV Cup.
Recall that the wild cards were assigned to Belogorie, Noliko Maaseik, Posojilnica and Energy Investments Lugano.
