This break after the second set seems to be affecting the game in many ways. Teams almost never stay in the same groove when they come back and it’s a big question weather that is good or bad.
Never the less, game was nothing short of amazing. Close until the very end, full of twists and turnarounds and a lot of high-quality volleyball.
Iran started with great deal of confidence, just flying around getting 2-0 lead in a heartbeat. But USA as USA usually does, came back super strong. Just as convincing and confident, USA tied the game 2-2.
Still, there was no more gas in the American tank, and Iran crushed them in the tie-break. Beautiful story of Kovac and his boys continues as they go undefeated after two derbies in group D.
