In the big final of the 17th Asian Games in volleyball for men, Iran has defeated Japan 3-1 (28-26, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19).

This was 3rd time that Iran and Japan have played in the final.

In the match for the third place South Korea was better than China 3-1 (20-25, 25-20, 25-13, 25-22).
