In Pool A, Netherlands and Italy will meet today. They will decided who goes in quarterfinals and who goes to 1/8 finals. Poland and Slovenia will fight for the third place which brings a place in 1/8 finals!
We have the same situation in Pool B. Turkey and Belgium will meet today and decide who will get the first place and who will get the second place. Azerbaijan and Hungary will try to reach the third place.
Russia have secured the ticket for quarterfinals in Pool C! But, the race for two 1/8 finals tickets continues today. Belarus need two sets against Bulgaria, while Croatia have tough job to beat Russia and secure the ticket for playoffs. Bulgaria definitely need win and that’s the only option for the team of Dragan Nesic, if they want to qualify for 1/8 finals. If they lose the match Croatia and Belarus will move to the 1/8 finals.
The Serbian national team is in the same situation as Russia. They will compete in quarterfinals, while Czech Republic and Germany are going to play in 1/8 finals. Romania will play the last match at Eurovolley today!
