Turkey vs Belgium
The first matches of the second competition day in Nitra brought out powerful and dominating performances by the Turkish and Slovakian Team which overpowered their opponents in straight sets. The finish was made with a Bulgarian team that celebrated the second victory in a row.
In Györ Russia again displayed why they may make the finals in Nitra by beating Germany in straight sets. Later on it was Serbia which successfully recovered from defeat day before with an uncontested victory over Hungary, followed by hard-earned win of Italy.
