by WoV

And last but not least, we present you the liberos that are main contenders for entering the women’s WoV Dream Team for the season 2016/2017.

The Best Liberos

The Best Liberos

Monica De Gennaro, Anna Malova, Camila Brait, Gizem Orge and Silvija Popovic are the liberos that marked season 16/17 with their great performances.

Since the first round of voting for the Dream Team 2016/2017 is underway, you have a chance to support your favorite players at our WorldofVolley Home Page and at our WorldofVolley Poll Page. To get to know everything about the contest, visit Best of 2016/2017 W article.

Monica De Gennaro (Imoco CONEGLIANO): Her plays were incredible during the whole season in Italian league but also in CEV Champions League. Her team was stopped in the Final of the European competition but Monica was named for the Best libero! Is it enough?

Silvija Popovic (Volero ZURICH): She had a great season in jersey of Volero. Beside that she won the Swiss championship and Cup, Silvija stood on the podium of the FIVB Club World Championship in Kobe when Volero took the bronze medal. Silvija was named for The Best libero of the competition.

Gizem Orge (Vakifbank ISTANBUL): Gizem is one more player from Vakifbank who was responsible for the victory of Vakifbank in CEV Champions League and Club World Championship. O.K. maybe she wasn’t named for the best libero of those competitions but she was on the high level every time.

Anna Malova (Dinamo MOSCOW): Malova for sure was one of the main players of Dinamo during the whole season. She won the Russian championship, took the fourth place in CEV Champions League and the fifth at the Club World Championship in Kobe. In the final of the Russian Cup Dinamo suffered defeat from Dinamo Kazan. At the end of season 16/17 she decided to pause in the next season.

Camila Brait (Nestle OSASCO): Somehow we got used to she is always ready for action. During the season she played great but unfortunately, her team didn’t won anything big. They were second in the Brazilian championship, the fifth in the FIVB Club World Championship. At the end of the season she got pregnant.

As usual only one libero will entre the 2016/2017 WoV Dream Team. The voting is still on, so grab a chance to support your favorite player!

No Fabi from Brazil — basically the greatest libero of this generation? Her team won Superliga and SulAmericano Cup and won silver at Wrold Club Championship and you decided to put Camila Brait? Gurl bye. This list is a flop.

Dear Organizer,
We are so glad to know that our idol Ruoqi Hui has been one of the candidates(Receivers) in the FEMAL DREAM TEAM OF 2016-2017.
We tried our best to vote. However, we found that the votes of Ruoqi Hui did not increase after we voted.Conversely,it was slow-moving or kept constant. We wonder what happened and what is valid votes.
Your early settlement of this case will be appreciated.
Thank you very much.
Yours sincerely
