MONTREUX 2017: China defeat Netherlands in tie-break, Poland outplay Thailand

China and Netherlands have played an amazing game at the Montreux Masters 2017!

The Olympic champions somehow prevailed in a thrilling encounter. Firstly, the Netherlands took the lead than they were trailing after three sets. In the fourth, the “Oranje” team managed to tie the score 2:2, but in the tie-break China were much better for the win 3:2.

Xiaotong Liu was the top scorer in China with 17 points, while on the other side Celeste Plak had 24. 

In the first game of day 2, led by Malwina Smarzek (27 points) Poland defeated Thailand in four sets 3-1 (25-17, 22-25, 25-23, 27-25).
