They will get the third chance to win the gold as they didn’t manage to do it in 2015 and 2016. In the semifinals Argentina defeated Canada 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-10).
Their rival in the final game will be Puerto Rico, that managed to beat the last year’s winners Cuba – 3-1 (16-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-21).
Argentina have already defeated Puerto Rico in the group stage. They ended the game in three sets, but we are wondering are they able to do it again?
Gold-medal match is scheduled for 30th July (23:00 CET).
