Iran shut out Argentina in the first classification 5-8 match at the FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship in Ankara.

At “Baskent Volleyball Hall”, the Asian team was once again cheered on by their faithful fans on the stands and seemed more motivated than their opponents to hammer out a 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 28-26) win and stay in contention for the fifth place.

Iran’s Javad Hosseinabadi and Argentina’s Pablo Kukartsev scored 16 points each to become the most prolific players of the match.
