Argentina has officially confirmed that Marcelo Méndez will continue as head coach of the men’s national volleyball team, ending recent speculation about his future in national team.
With two Olympic cycles under his belt, Méndez will guide Argentina through a 2025 season, which includes the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) and the Men’s World Championship. The Argentine Volleyball Federation sees his leadership as essential for the team’s growth and transition toward the future.
Argentina’s VNL campaign kicks off in Canada on June 11, followed by stops in Serbia and Japan. The Men’s World Championship will take place from September 12 to 28, marking a pivotal moment for the team.
