Julio Velsaco’s team begin against Columbia on Friday, play Chile on Saturday and then finish off against Venezuela on Sunday.
“It is the best part of the season and we have been waiting for the chance to qualify since London 2012,” middle blocker Sebastian Sole said.
“These matches are played with our minds more than with the body and we have to focus hard on them. It would be a mistake to think that we have already qualified and Venezuela showed in the match we played against them at the FIVB World Cup in Japan that they will fight for every ball.”
