In the decisive game, Velasco’s side beat the hosts of the Olympic qualifying tournament in five-set thriller, 3-2 (25-12, 22-25, 25-12, 25-27, 15-12).
Palacios (18 points) and Conte (17) were the to scorers in Argentina, while Poglajen added 16 points.
So, now we have four national team qualified for Rio Summer Olympic game – Brazil, USA, Italy and Argentina. There are 8 more tickets.
Venezuela will have one more chance to qualify for Rio 2016. In May, they will compete for ticket again…
