UPCN vs. Obras
Defending champions Bolívar beat Lomas Vóley 3-2 (23-25, 25-11, 22-25, 25-23, 16-14) in a very intense match that had to be resolved in the tie-break.
The top scorer of the clash was Brazilian from Lomas – Renato Adornelas with 21 points, while on the other side, his compatriot Raphael Oliveira ’Rapha’ stood out with 17.
Last season’s league title holders and Cup silver medalists, UPCN, had an easier job against Obras Pocito de San Juan 3-1 (19-25, 16-25, 25-20, 17-25) with 22 points from Bulgarian Nikolay Uchikov. José Luis González scored 16 in Obras.
The match for the trophy will be played tonight at 10:00 PM (local time) in „Polideportivo Municipal de Almirante Brown“ in Burzaco, Buenos Aires.
