Javier Filardi, appointed as Argentina’s captain upon arrival of Julio Velasco on the position of a head coach, announced on social networks that he will no longer play for the national team due to family reasons. Filardi simply said he wanted to take a break and enjoy with his family.
Argentinian media remind that Filardi has already left national team once. Last year, during the FIVB World League, he returned home to enjoy fatherhood.
Argentina’s National Team started preparations in mid-April.
