Third seed UPCN advanced to their EIGHTH CONSECUTIVE playoff finals by sweeping No. 2 Ciudad Vóley 3-0 in the semifinal series. Bulgarian receiver Nikolay Uchikov led his team to the win in Game 3 with 18 points while UPCN made amazing 64% attack overall. Agustín Closer scored 11 for Ciudad.
UPCN still do not now their rivals in the finals of the 2016/17 Liga Argentina de Voleibol but there is a big chance it will be Personal Bolívar, who have 2-1 lead in the series over Lomas Vóley.
