In the second match of Pool A, Kazakhstan defeated Chinese Taipei in exhausting five sets 25-20, 16-25, 29-27, 25-27, 15-13.
On the second day of the tournament in Pool B, Iran was better than Japan 3-0 (25-10, 25-18, 25-23) while South Korea surprised Australia with 3-0 win (26-24, 30-28, 25-22).
