Paykan Tehran had a 2-0 lead on the road and a huge chance to seize an away win already at the start of the final series. However, then Sarmayeh Bank started dominating the court. The reigning champions clinched the following three sets and won this match by 3-2!
The format of the Playoffs Finals is best of 3, which means that Sarmayeh Bank need one more win the once again win the championship crown.
Paykan Tehran will have a home court advantage in Game 2 (March 12), while if they manage to level the score, then Game 3 will be played at the court of Sarmayeh Bank.
