Michael Sanchez Bozhulev
The Cuban played already in the Russian, Korean and Turkish leagues, bringing in his résumé the spectacular record of 31 points marked only in 1 set and will certainly be one of the greatest stars in the Brazilian Superliga.
Sanchez will wear a volleyball jersey of Volei UM Itapetininga, a rookie club created with great ambitions.
André Nascimento, (gold medal winner on Olympic Games in Athens), as a club manager said:
“Michael is an excellent player, one of the best opposites of the present time and will certainly help us a lot with his experience. We are a new club but the club is created to have a long life and to be reputable in a volleyball world. The city is passionate about the club and our fans will love watching great games with great players of international recognition.”
The Vôlei UM Itapetininga has as its Head coach Fabiano Magoo who is also the U19 Brazilian coach. Michael is arriving in the club at the beginning of October.
The Vôlei UM Itapetininga will debut in Superliga on the 26th October against Sada Cruzeiro.
