Minas didn’t have any difficulties away against Pinheiros. They scored a 3-0 win 25-17, 25-17, 25-19. Gabriela Guimaraes was the best scorer with 13 points, while Natalia Zilio had 11. In the home team, Herrera Alvarez scored 15 points.
Unlike Minas, Sesc RJ had a really tough game against Sesi Bauru at the home court. They barely managed to beat them, winning the tie-break 21-19.
Jucyele Barreto had 18 points in SESC RJ, while Tatyana Kosheleva and Isabel Yonkaria contributed with 17 points each. Monique Pavao and Mayhara Silva had 12 points each.
On the other side, Valentina Diouf scored 23 points.
Joyce Silva led Fluminense to the 3-0 away win over Osasco with 14 points. It was Osasco’s second consecutive defeat, while Fluminense have recovered after the defeat in the previous round (2-2 score).
