“We played the last game in this year on Sunday. I thank god for giving me health to do what I love. But I can not forget to make constructive criticism of the organizations that control the world of volleyball. It was an extremely stressful year, with countless trips, games and championships. From the clubs’ level and international as well. Special dates, like Christmas, we spent traveling and practicing. The number of injuries has increased and that’s not the best situation for everyone. The FIVB, CEV, LegaVolley, CBV and others need to understand that we are human and we need a calendar that also takes into consideration the health of the athletes. It’s not just about business and money. The athletes are creating the show. We, athletes, can get together to change a bit of this system.”
