By beating Esporte Clube Pinheiros with a 3-1 (25-22, 25-19, 20-25, 26-24) at home, Sesc RJ recorded an eighth straight win to remain undefeated and leaders in the charts of the 2019/20 Superliga Feminina regular season. The team coached by Bernardo Rezende “Bernardinho“ won the match valid for Round 11.

One-time Olympic champion from Sesc, Tandara Caixeta, really doesn’t have luck this season. The opposite hitter firstly missed a couple of games at the beginning of the season due to abdominal pain. Now, she fractured her nose in the fourth set of the game against Pinheiros after colliding with a teammate Drussyla Costa and left the court.

However, Tandara was the best scorer of her team today with 21 points. The youngster Karina Barbosa top-scored for Pinheiros with 16 points.
